Fried plantains are a traditional treat in many parts of the world. Try 
them once and you'll be hooked. Overly ripe plantains work best for this
 recipe. In Nigeria it's called Dodo.
Ingredient
- 1 quart oil for frying.
 - 5 plantains.
 
Preparation Method
Step 1
Preheat oil in a large, deep frying pan over medium high heat. 
Step 2 
Peel the plantains and cut them in half. Slice the halves into small pieces. 
Step 3
Fry the pieces until browned and tender. Drain off excess oil.
