Nigerian beans stew is a traditional dish
served with fried plantains. The dish is one of the most favourite food in Nigeria and other neighbouring West African countries.

- Spices(Maggi)
- Palm ol
- Salt
- Cooked Egg
How To Prepare It
First, you need to blend or grind the pepper with the onion and tomatoes.
Step 1
Boil the beans and eggs in a stove for about 20mins.
Step 2
Cut your fish into little chunks and fry them in a vegetable oil.
Step 3
Peel the ripe plantain, cut them into small chunks and deep fry them in vegetable oil.
Step 4
Pour the palm oil into the pot and slice onion into thin slice and allow the onion to cook until they turn golden brown.
Step 5
Add the grind pepper and onions into the palm oil and let the
mixture simmer for 5 minutes and stir it often. after 5 minute you then
add the tomatoes to it and allow it to boil whiles stirring.
Step 6
Add the cooked beans to the mixture, add the salt and Maggi to it, cover
the pot and reduce the heat. Let the beans cook for about 10 to 15mins and stir often.
Step 7
When all is set . You can then serve your beans stew with the fried plantain, fish and eggs.
