Watermelon is a great fruit to consume if you are on a diet. It is rich in vitamins, it is a low calorie fruit and very refreshing. Dates are added to increase the iron content and nutritional value
of this drink. Dates are also rumored or maybe even confirmed to be
great aphrodisiacs, so if this is right up your alley, go for it. I would
still maintain that dates are high sugar, so you may not want to
saturate the drink with dates because then it becomes too sweet to
drink. If you notice from the recipe, a little bit of
ginger has been added for that extra kick. In my opinion, it just adds character to the
drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup of blended watermelon
- 1/4 teaspoon of grated ginger
- 2 pieces of dates (remove the seeds)
- 7 tablespoons of evaporated milk
- 1/4 cup of crushed ice.
Preparation Method
- Blend all ingredients together till smooth and serve chilled.
